Welcome to November 7, 2025 is organized like an altarpiece devoted to infrastructure. At the vanishing point stands a luminous monolith, half data center and half power station, radiating white and amber bands across an industrial plain. Nuclear cooling towers occupy the left horizon; stacks and wind turbines answer from the right. Above this energy landscape float a DNA-like helix and a neural glyph, alongside a descending meteor or launch trail. The sky reads as a diagram in which biological, computational, and perhaps orbital change have become inseparable from the power systems below. Dr. Alex Wissner-Gross’s dispatch brought an unusually dense set of stories into exactly that relationship. It described models learning to forget and Kimi K2 performing long chains of tool use. It paired a forecast of 1.4 trillion dollars in AI infrastructure with Google’s reported tenfold Ironwood TPU leap. On the energy side, it included free solar and thorium nuclear power. Biology and medicine entered through polygenic embryo selection and cheaper obesity treatment, while neuroscience appeared in fMRI reconstruction of imagined experience. Tesla’s million-robot and million-robotaxi valuation extended the same scale into embodied labor and autonomous transport. The central monolith gathers the compute and capital stories into one radiant core, but the work does not let compute appear self-sufficient. Cooling towers, turbines, and industrial stacks make its energy dependence visible. The helix points specifically toward embryo selection; the neural sign recalls decoded brain activity. These are not generic decorations for biotechnology. They locate reproductive choice and imagined experience inside the same accelerating technical system as chips, models, power, robots, vehicles, and investment. That is the dispatch’s larger thesis: intelligence is growing through coordinated advances in cognition, infrastructure, energy, biology, embodiment, and valuation. The November 7 timestamp makes the physical cost and widening reach of that coordination part of the Singularity's material record. On November 7, the future was not merely a smarter model. It was a power-hungry industrial stack, financed at extraordinary scale, beginning to touch memory, perception, reproduction, medicine, work, and motion. The altarpiece format makes the buildout look monumental, while its concrete symbols keep that monument anchored to the day’s specific claims.
