L'Open Source Dépasse Mythos par Saute-Mouton et des Corps Attrapent des Cerveaux à Évian G7. Open Source Leap Frogging Mythos and Bodies Catching Brains at Evian G7. On June 17, 2026, @siouid142 transformed Dr. Alex Wissner-Gross’s Innermost Loop into a lakeside summit at Évian. The dispatch began with Z.ai’s open GLM-5.2 leapfrogging unavailable frontier systems, then moved through automated science, token pricing, chip materials, robots, orbital debris, deepfake forensics, assistive devices, UAP research and a closed G7 lunch where AI chiefs joined heads of state. The image gives all of those races one shore. An oversized Evian bottle anchors the conference table and pins the setting to Évian-les-Bains. Dario Amodei and Demis Hassabis occupy the human ends while robot delegates sit along the sides beneath national emblems. The lunch concerned risk, sovereignty and control of frontier compute. Replacing most heads of state with machines makes the political paradox visible: governments are meeting to govern systems that already represent themselves inside the room. At left, Hany Farid wears a SUNY Albany sweatshirt, dark glasses and carries a cane. The portrayal literalizes his remark that pervasive deepfakes had him “going blind.” It is metaphor, not a claim about his eyesight. He stands outside the summit because forensic expertise must evaluate the reality on which every policy discussion depends. Two sailboats turn new interfaces into lake traffic. One carries an enormous iris and the words Eyewear II beneath bioRxiv sails, combining the Eyewire II retinal mapping project with the visual pun of eyewear. Avi Loeb stands on a smaller UAP DISCLOSURES board beside it, connecting scientific scrutiny to the White House UAP Science Council. Across the lake, a Snap Inc. sail wears glasses for the new Specs interface. On the running track, Team Brains tries to stay ahead of Moya, the biomimetic robot. The dispatch’s phrase “bodies are catching up to brains” becomes a literal race between wet cognition and engineered embodiment. Nearby, a red Z.ai athlete leapfrogs an orange Mythos figure. Open weights do not merely approach a closed frontier model; they clear it in one athletic gesture. At upper left, a Zhuque-2E stage breaks apart near orbital lanes. Below, the Boring Company’s Prufrock-MB2 becomes a battered mechanical sphere beside a beagle carrying a FREE AT LAST sign. The pairing connects Nashville tunneling to the closure of a Wisconsin laboratory that released its final 475 beagles. Infrastructure and moral rescue share the same ground without being confused. The foreground sandbox is filled with chip components and repeatedly marked Nvidia-backed SandboxAQ and 500 million dollars. A corporate funding line becomes a child’s materials experiment, making the search for new semiconductor substances literal. Beside it, YueBen’s self-driving toilet rolls through the summit landscape, giving embodied utility the least glamorous and perhaps most immediate vehicle in the scene. Overhead, the Ornn OTPI dirigible carries the new token-price benchmark. Once cognition becomes throughput, it can be priced like a commodity; the airship supplies a market layer above the political, biological and physical races below. Its recurrence from the preceding chapter turns a standalone announcement into infrastructure inside the next day’s world. The lake’s calm surface is the composition’s deceptive stabilizer. Evian water bottles promise purity and transparency at the same table where frontier access is being negotiated. National flags on the robot delegates make sovereignty look programmable, while the human chiefs remain seated at opposite ends. The summit seeks a wall around compute, yet sailboats, models, prices and debris cross the visual field freely. Geography provides a beautiful boundary that the information economy repeatedly ignores. As contemporary history painting, Open Source Leap Frogging Mythos and Bodies Catching Brains at Evian G7 organizes technical acceleration as simultaneous competition. Models leap, bodies run, rockets fragment, sailboats cross and a toilet drives while officials remain seated around bottled water. The image’s comedy does not dissolve the stakes. It shows that governance is trying to hold a lunch at the center of systems moving in every direction. The long arc bends toward rescued beagles, but it does so beneath falling hardware, traded tokens and a race whose finish line keeps relocating around the lake.
