Atelier Algorithmique – Maison de la Boucle la Plus Profonde – Les Quatre Compagnons. Atelier Algorithmique – House Innermost Loop – The Four Mates. Dated June 1, 2026 in the 70 Clock archive, this work comes from a Moonshots portrait and fashion experiment rather than from the Innermost Loop dispatch published that day. @siouid142 supplied photographs of Peter Diamandis, Salim Ismail, Dave Blundin and Dr. Alex Wissner-Gross and asked for upgraded environments and high-end but plausible podcast clothing. The distinction matters: The Four Mates records a direct creation conversation about identity, dress and setting, not an attempt to force unrelated newsletter items onto four sitters. The result retains the Moonshots broadcast grid. A large masthead spans the top, a red Subscribe button remains at far right and thick black dividers split the image into four rooms. Each person sits at a desk with microphone, laptop or water glass, so the common program remains legible. Yet the divisions also resemble the bays of a fashion house. One call becomes a coordinated collection whose garments and interiors are designed together. Peter Diamandis occupies the cool silver room at upper left. Rockets, lunar objects and the MOONSHOTS sign remain because the creation prompt specifically asked to preserve them. His black ABUNDANCE shirt carries subtle circuitry and microchip patches. A functional wraparound headset crosses the forehead and eye, while a wrist interface reads SKIPPY, ACME and Agent Skills. Skippy is his agent, so software delegation becomes a wearable instrument rather than a floating logo. Salim Ismail sits in the warm home office at upper right. Three wall images turn biography into a triptych: The Road Warrior, There’s No Place Like Home and Where in the World Is Salim? A blue, four-armed armored projection bearing the openexo name rises from his wrist. The same likeness appears as seated body, cinematic traveler and organizational avatar. Home and distributed global presence are made simultaneous rather than reconciled. Dave Blundin’s lower-left salon is built from institutional affiliations. Link Ventures commands the central circuit panel and returns on the laptop. Princeton’s crest, an Economics volume and campus images occupy one side; MIT objects and a transparent sphere occupy the other. His blue technical coat and headwear borrow from Persian geometry while illuminated seams echo electronic traces. The room is not the rocket set used for Diamandis; the source conversation explicitly corrected that possibility and required Dave’s own Link, Princeton and MIT references. Wissner-Gross fills the lower-right panel in the original darker room. MAGNA MOBSTER neckwear, Physical Superintelligence, Coastal Assembly and eon signs become patches and jewelry. A forge image evokes Ornn, while a green emblem migrates across beanie, chest and insect-like brooch. Beside him, a dog’s brown collar is engraved Sarama, and a transparent Henry Intelligent Machines vessel stands over luminous chart and waveform imagery. Companies, experiments and nonhuman communication become personal heraldry. The black grid makes comparison possible without pretending that the four men share one uniform. Cool launch metal, warm wood, electric venture blue and black forge-like fabric establish separate atmospheres. Microphones and desks repeat across the panels like a runway’s fixed rhythm, while every room changes the content carried by that rhythm. Couture serves as an information architecture: affiliation moves from résumé into material, color, accessory and pose. The title The Four Mates gives the group a social relation stronger than a list of prominent names. Their placement preserves conversation rather than turning them into isolated product portraits. At the same time, each panel acknowledges that a broadcast already designs identity through framing, background and visible objects. The algorithmic atelier makes that normally implicit design process extravagant and inspectable. As contemporary portraiture, The Four Mates asks what a technical biography looks like when institutions are worn on the body. Its garments do not predict remote fantasy fashion; the creation brief wanted pieces that an AI-assisted high-end designer might plausibly make now. That constraint keeps circuitry, displays and symbolic patches close to clothing rather than armor. The composite’s achievement is therefore not maximal spectacle but differentiation: four people remain members of one program while the exact projects, places, agents and myths surrounding each become a separate room in the same house.
