L’Abondance Distillée — Atelier Algorithmique — Dave Blundin. Drip Abundance — Atelier Algorithmique — Dave Blundin. On April 23, 2026, @siouid142 placed venture capitalist Dave Blundin on a white runway wearing the abundance thesis he helps finance. Dr. Alex Wissner-Gross’s Innermost Loop had joined physical intelligence, wearable interfaces and a proposed “sixteenth Moonshot” to the language of high-end “drip.” As managing partner of Link Ventures and a backer of Atelier Algorithmique, Blundin becomes neither spectator nor anonymous sponsor. He is the collection’s model, carrying its claims across his own body. Dave Blundin walks a runway in the abundance thesis he helps finance, removing the usual distance between investor and product. The robotics-and-wearables thread had already become a “16th Moonshot”; casting the Link Ventures managing partner for Atelier Algorithmique expands that idea into an institutional collection. He is not watching from the audience or backing the clothes offstage—the venture capitalist is wearing the technical future. That role reversal explains the fashion-show setting and the phrase “Drip Abundance.” Venture language about scaling possibility becomes literal drip: a severe black technical coat, fitted body suit, and tall boots open to reveal a nebula lining. The galaxy print turns the inside of the garment into the collection’s signature horizon, while the armored panels and inset displays make the tailoring look computational without hiding Blundin’s recognizable face. The wearable system repeats across his body. A metal headband places a glowing rectangular component over his forehead; narrow screens sit in both forearms; more data surfaces run down the coat tails; and blue-violet cosmic panels continue over the shins and boot straps. In his left hand, a slim black cane carries its own vertical display, functioning at once as mobility tool, runway prop, and “scepter of capital.” Photographers crowd the foot of the white catwalk while spotlights flare behind him, so the scene reads as a documented public debut rather than a private character study. The earlier Corebotix beanie has become a complete institutional collection. Blundin’s walk makes the joke precise: the people architecting and financing the technical future are no longer merely adjacent to its aesthetic; they have become its models. The runway is an ideal device for converting a newsletter into relations among bodies. A dispatch presents technologies serially, each item separated by a heading and link. Couture forces them to coexist as silhouette, material, posture and pace. Headband, forearm screens, coat-tail displays, cosmic panels and cane can be read in one glance as parts of a coordinated system. The model’s walk provides sequence without turning the work into an infographic. Blundin’s recognizable face prevents the costume from becoming anonymous science fiction. Venture capital normally appears through logos, portfolio lists and abstract language about scale. Here capital must inhabit the proposition and expose itself to a public gaze. The person who evaluates technical futures is evaluated in turn by cameras at the foot of the catwalk. Financing becomes performance, and conviction becomes something that must be worn rather than merely stated. The phrase Drip Abundance is unstable. In fashion, drip means style; materially, liquid escaping containment. Abundance promises an end to scarcity, yet the outfit requires specialized devices, tailoring and a spotlighted stage. The garment asks who embodies abundance first. Its singularity hints that a universal thesis may initially arrive as an elite prototype. The cane is the work’s sharpest ambiguity: mobility support, runway accessory, sensor mast, display or scepter. Calling it a scepter of capital acknowledges its authority, while possible support keeps bodily vulnerability present. Augmentation reorganizes dependency into elegant equipment. Power and assistance share one polished object. The forehead component and distributed screens make couture function as information architecture. Data is not confined to a handheld rectangle but assigned to anatomical zones: cognition at the brow, action at the forearms, memory or status along the coat tails, propulsion across the shins. The wearer becomes a moving dashboard. Yet the tailored continuity keeps that instrumentation from fragmenting him into components. He remains visibly Dave Blundin, which makes the question of agency harder rather than easier. As art criticism, Drip Abundance — Atelier Algorithmique — Dave Blundin stages venture capital as embodied self-portraiture. It asks what happens when institutions financing transformation appear inside their own aesthetic consequences. Under runway lights, the thesis acquires weight, seams, screens and a human gait. Abundance becomes a garment publicly tested by someone betting that others will eventually wear it.
